Sun pouring in the neighbours old barn this morning when I went to pick up our equipment that’s been in storage all winter. Love these old barns!
With our 10th field season about to kick off (once this rain stops!), we are adding one more person to our field team. • 👨🏽‍🌾Link in bio for job details👩🏻‍🌾
Cukes going in! We are starting to flip all our hoophouses into summer crops after being full of leafy greens all winter. Always bittersweet but excited for our first cukes of the season in a month or so! 🥒 🌞💚
A perfect spring day • The Purple Sprouting Broccoli is on fire this year. Last year the cold combined with the ducks meant zero harvest, so it’s a dream to head out to a sea of purple and harvest.
Fields are still pretty darn wet and it’s starting to fill up here in the propagation house. After years of pushing to get on the fields early, (with little success when the April showers stick around) we’ve dropped most of our earliest plantings of our succession crops. It’s a great stress reducer, not having to find that early weather window, which some years are nonexistent. As long as we aren’t as late as last year, all is well...
Evening Foraging • One of the best parts of living on the farm is running out to the field for supper’s ingredients. The buzz of the day’s work melts into stillness and the fields take on another level of magic. Sustenance for the soul and belly.
Are you a 🥒🍆🍅🥦🌶🥔🥕🍠🍓 lover and looking for a part time gig this summer or know someone who is? • We are hiring for this upcoming summer market season for help at: • Main St on Wednesday •West End on Saturday •Kits on Sunday •All the info is on our website 💚
Sprinkling a little magic around the propagation house! • We add biologicals, like these parasitic wasps, to combat pest problems on our transplants. These wasps mummify aphids, it’s pretty cool to see their handiwork a few days later! • 📷 and hand model @lehmanncrysta •
Crafty grafty Friday afternoon

Spending this grey day finalizing the varieties for the flower field this year. Always hard to choose between all the beauties 😍

Today is the last day you can get 5% off your Summer CSA share! • CSA’s are a great way to try new crops, like these Dragon Tongue and Tongue of Fire beans. Who wouldn’t want to try new veggies with names like that? • All of our CSA info is on our website but email us or comment too with any questions!
